The new Benq P1410 comes equipped with a sensor of 14 megapixels and a range of advanced features, including 7x optical zoom, double anti-shake system and a back light LED display of 3-inch (7.62 cm) with a resolution of 460,000 pixels (960×480 ).
The high zoom allows obtaining portrait shots even when the subject is located at a distance of 15 meters from the photographer.

Another important feature of the new digital camera is related to HDR II mode, which allows automatic adjustment of the lighting that the captured image will not suffer from significant differences.

Besides quality photos, the new BenQ P1410 offers users the ability to shoot video with sound and various HD resolution image. The new P1410 compact digital camera will be available this month at a price $ 150.

The new NEX-7 camera benefits from the new CMOS Exmor APS HD sensor with a resolution of 24.3 megapixels, along with the latest version of the Sony BIONZ image processor.

Thanks to this sensor and to the image processor the NEX-7 provides ultra fast shooting response, plus the highest quality image during shooting or video recording. With a ISO of 100-16000, high sensitivity facilitates the indoor shooting or at dusk. The answer is accelerated to trigger a reaction time of just 0.02 seconds – the fastest time of any cameras with interchangeable lenses in the world.

The autofocus, accurate and fast is enhanced by the new Object Tracking, which keeps the focus locked on a particular topic, even when it moves in the frame. The new NEX-7 provides quickly and easily control on the settings with intuitive control TRINAVI.

The two control buttons at the top of the camera are complemented by a control wheel. This facilitates a quick navigation through the various shooting modes, allowing you to custom and adjust the image control of the camera.

The Sony NEX-7 is available at a price of $ 1,199.

The first rumors on the plans from Canon on releasing the Mark III of the Canon EOS 5D camera appeared in April, but now the specs are known as well and you can read about them below.

Apparently, the 5D Mark III will have a 35mm sensor with full frame, a resolution of 32MP (compared with the 21MP from the Mark II), plus plenty of other improvements, like the high ISO range (which goes from 100 to 25600). It will also have a Digic V processor which is updated. Thanks to all the improvements, the Mark III has better noise reduction and image quality.

Other specs are the auto focus system with 19 points, the bigger LCD, the auto focus technology and it can use CompactFlash memory cards. If you want to shoot photos continuously, the speed has increased to 4.2 FPS, from 3.9 FPS. It appears that test versions of the Mark III are already in the hands of photographers.

A new high end compact digital camera was announced by Leica and the model’s name is V-LUX 30. This camera comes with a 15.1MP image sensor and the Leica DC Vario Elmar lens has an optical zoom of 16X, with a focal length extended range. The camera’s LCD display is a touch screen and the camera also has a GPS which is integrated in it. The Leica V-Lux 30 is capable of recording videos at 1080i AVCHD quality (Full HD quality). The release date for the Leica V-LUX 30 camera is expected to be in the first part of June 2011.

The camera also comes with a large software package, which includes programs like Premiere Elements 9 from Adobe which is designed to do video processing and Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 which is designed for image processing.

Most of the camera is pretty much the same as the Panasonic ZS10, which is a cheaper model.

A new digital camera will be released by Casio in the near future and it’s a limited edition model, called Exilim EX-Z800 Doraemon Limited. Not sure just how limited this edition will be, since it’s destined for the mass market, but for Doraemon fans, it might be a good deal. The camera comes with a picture of Doraemon on the front and the specs include a 14.1MP image sensor, an optical zoom lens which goes up to 4X, an LCD screen of 2.7 inches, a card slot which allows you to expand the internal storage with SD/SDHC cards and it also comes loaded with a Doraemon wallpaper and some animations.

The camera is capable of filming video at 720p quality and it will be released in August 2011, for 29,800 Yen (which is $365). The package will also contain a carrying case with a Doraemon design on it. If you’re a Doraemon fan, this one might be just the thing for you.

You can pick it up for just $101 right now, which is 32% lower than the regular price of this model. The date when the announcement for the release of the Sony A77 camera is finally known and it appears that it will be July 7. The price of this model will be $1099, and that price includes kit lens. As for the selling date, it should appear in stocks starting from the end of September or the beginning of October. The Sony A77 is the best APS-C model from this manufacturer. It is not known right now whether the mentioned price will have the 18-55mm lens included or if it will come with the latest kit lens of high quality (not very likely, but possible).

When you look at the competitors of the Sony A77, you will notice that they cost between $1,199 and $1,860. (Nikon being the cheapest and Canon the most expensive). At the same time, Sony plans to announce new lenses and accessories, designed for the A77.

Casio EX-Z3000 is a new compact digital camera which is newly released, coming with a 16.1 MP image sensor and an optical zoom of 8X, as well as an LCD display with touch screen which measures 3.2 inches. When it comes to activating the camera’s shutter, all you have to do is use the touch screen and just one touch will be sufficient. When you do that, the EX-Z3000 will start to focus on the scene and it will take the photo.

A function called Premium Auto allows the user to take great photos automatically, either with the help of the touchscreen or the shutter button. Another feature of this camera is image stabilization with CCD shift, plus AutoFocus at high speed (taking only 0.14 seconds). The camera’s battery has a high enough capacity to allow for up to 560 photos to be taken. The colors available for the Casio EX-Z3000 camera are brown, red, pink and silver.

The Sigma SD1 is the latest medium DSLR released by this company and it’s also their flagship model. The SD1 was announced last year and it’s a 46MP model, which uses three different layers, with 15.4MP on each of the layers. The Sigma SD1 DSLR has a direct image sensor from Foveon called APS-C X3.

Another feature of the Sigma SD1 is their improved image processing engine, now both faster and with better tones of color. This is the first model from Sigma that can shoot both JPEG and RAW format photos at the same time. You can choose to shoot the RAW images in either quarter, half or full size.

The focal length of the optical format is at 1.5X and low pass filters don’t need to be used anymore since the sensor comes with three photo detector layers which are silicon embedded. The ISO varies from 100 to 6400 and the camera has an autofocus system with 11 points. The LCD screen has 3 inches and 460k pixels. The price of the Sigma SD1 will be $9,700 when it will be released in June 2011.

BenQ P1410 is a digital camera from the point and shoot category, capable of taking photos with a 7X optical zoom and a 14MP quality. The LCD screen on the P1410 is a 3 inch model with 460,000 pixels. Some of the features offered by the BenQ P1410 digital camera are the special shooting effects, the system with double anti-shake and the casing which is ultra-slim.

Thanks to the HDR 2 technology of image enhancement, this point and shoot camera can adjust the photo, both in its brightest and darkest parts, so that it reproduces the outdoor scenes as accurately as possible, even when the lightest is too high or too low.

The BenQ P1410 is also capable of recording movie clips at HD quality, with a 1280×720 resolution. The launch date for this model is going to be sometime during May 2011, though they haven’t announced its price so far.
