Whether you are an amateur or a professional in the photo, the new FujiFilm Finepix X100 will surely give you palpitations. The gorgeous look, inspired by the classic film cameras, is complemented by the latest digital trends: sensor micro four thrids, the lack of pentaprism and superior video performance – 720p HD recording.

The Finepix X100 can capture images at up to 12.3 MP resolution with a catch rate of 5 frames per second. The 2.8-inch display acts as a viewfinder, but an electronic eyepiece placed above on the left side is also available. If you are not satisfied with the integrated flash, you can mount one, more powerful and more efficient.

The Fujifilm Finepix X100 comes with a 23 mm fixed lens, great for shooting in poor lighting conditions, due to the generous open-aperture F/2.

The Finepix X100 will be available for purchase from 2011 and will have a price around 250 euros.

Fujifilm’s 3D Camera uses a pair of lenses and sensors in order to offer the 3D effect.

People at CNET Asis finally took the 3D shooter prototype from Fujifilm for a test drive.

This new device completely resets the standards in the digital camera industry by using a pair of lenses and sensors to capture light in stereo. In order to create the 3D effect the two images alternate at 60 fps on a 2.8-inch LCD display on the back.

For the future, Fujifilm is developing an 8.4-inch 3D photo frame and also some very interesting lenticular prints. For those of you who don’t know, a lenticular print is a special picture that you’ll have to tilt left and right in order to see different things.

Until then, the 3D camera is getting ready to hit the market in September 2009.
