Pentax K2000 Entry-Level DSLR Camera

Pentax has a new surprise for their customers: a brand new entry-level DSLR known as the Pentax K2000.

This digital camera features a 10.2MP sensor, up to 3200 ISO, 2.7 inch LCD display, 3.5 fps shooting rate and SD/SDHC memory card slot. In addition to all that it uses a dust removal and alert system along with 10 scene modes.

The most exciting thing about it is that it features a backward compatibility will all Pentax lenses released since 1975.

The K2000 will be available in stores starting this November with a $699 price tag.

Pentax Optio W60

Pentax launched recently the Optio W60, which is a waterproof compact digital camera. While it’s not a DSLR, the Pentax Optio W60 still has some great features. One of them is the possibility to shoot in dry and wet places at the same time, so half the camera underwater and half above it.

Other features include the 10 megapixel sensor, 28mm wide angle and the 5x zoom. It can be used underwater for up to 2 hours, as long as the depth is under 13 feet.

The Pentax Optio W60 will be offered for sale in July and the price will be $329.95.
