If you think that 15-megapixels are a lot for a camera, well… guess again. Leaf has just presented their 56-megapixel AFi 10 medium-format digital camera blowing everyone’s minds. Yes its right 56 megapixels in only one picture. Pretty amazing huh?

Now, you should start reconsidering your storage space on the computer because images this big will require as much freespace as possible. A regular card will probably handle no more than 5 pics.

Besides that camera features a True Wide Frame (TWF) 56mm x 36mm sensor that will work perfectly with over 80 large format cameras.

About pricing and release date, the AFi 100 will be available on the market in Q4 2008 with a price tag of $43,675.
