Nikon announced the second camera with an incorporated projector, the Nikon Coolpix S1100pj. The new Coolpix S1100pj is an ultra compact camera with a case of only 24 mm thick. But inside we find a 14.1 MP sensor, a 5x optical zoom lens and an LED projector, similar to the one integrated on the model S1000pj. The difference between them is that the new projection system is rated with a brightness of 14 lumens, compared to 10 Lumens of older camera. The 3 inch display is touch sensitive and comes with a higher resolution. Another feature offered by the S1100pj which is becoming a standard in the market is the video capture at 720p resolution.

Nikon has introduced another feature on the Coolpix S1100pj integrated projector: the camera can connect to the computer via USB, and will function as a projector screen.  The price of the Nikon Coolpix S1100sj is smaller than the previous model, 350$ and will be available starting next month.
