After six months from the launch of D90 – the first DSLR camera to offer video recording – Nikon has released a second model capable of video recording, D5000. Located between D60 and D90, this DSLR has a resolution of 12.3 megapixels.
Nikon D500 benefits from the new Quiet Shooting – that reduces the noise produced by the internal components when you capture a photo. This design is useful in situations such as wedding ceremonies, concerts and photographing the children when they are asleep.
The most obvious advantage of Nikon’s D5000 is the 2.7 inch articulated display, that can lean down and rotate 180 to 360 degrees. This control is very useful for the photos you take keeping the camera above your head or below the waist. The D5000 display is smaller than the D90, which measures 3 inches, and the resolution is lower (only 230.000 points, compared with 920.000 points on the D90).
The Nikon D5000 DSLR is a camera worth buying if you want a high quality of the photos and HD video recordings at 1280 x 720 resolution with 24 fps and has a price of 696$ (565 Euro).
