Nikon is getting ready to make a big announcement these days. After weeks and months of rumours, the D700 will be officially introduced on the market. The long-waited beast will feature full-frame FX format 12.1 megapixel CMOS, 3-inch display, scene recognition, 51 point autofocus (with 3D tracking), ISO up to 6400, four-speed active dust reduction, 5 or 8 fps full-resolution shooting, HDMI out, and much more.
You can expect it to hit the stores sometimes this July along with the SB-900 speedlight (August, $500), and the PC-E Micro NIKKOR 45mm f/2.8D ED (August, $1,800) and PC-E Micro NIKKOR 85mm f/2.8D lenses (August, $1,740).
