Canon has just announced for the next month two new 10 – megapixel digital cameras for their A-Series: the A1000 IS and the A2000 IS.
Both cameras feature 30fps VGA video capabilities, DIGIC III processing, a 3200 ISO maximum sensitivity, 17 shooting modes, face detection technology and optical image stabilization. And that’s pretty much all they have in common.
Now, for the differences: the A1000 IS comes in blue, silver or brown colors and boasts with a 2.5-inch monitor and 4x zoom lens while the A2000 IS will be silver or gunmetal and will have a 3.0-inch LCD monitor and 6x optical zoom lens.
