Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ38 is a superzoom digital camera, the big brother of earlier models Lumix DMC-FZ28 and Lumix DMC-FZ18 and it is known as DMC-FZ35 in North America.
The DMC-FZ38 has an f/2.8-4.4 LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT objective with 18x optical zoom and 27 mm wide angle in a compact body. The strong 18x optical zoom can be also used while video recording. In addition, the resolution of three megapixels, the Extra Optical Zoom function provides the additional zoom of 35.2x zoom (950 mm).
The Lumix DMC-FZ38 has also POWER OIS, an intelligent ISO control, Face Detection AF/AE and Face Recognition, Intelligent Scene Recognition, Intelligent Scene Selector, Intelligent Exposure and AF Tracking, the device that does all the work in iA mode.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ38 is available in stores at a price of 330 euros.
